BA Digital and Creative Enterprise

Digital And Creative Enterprise.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This one-year BA (Hons) degree programme is aimed at people who already have studied for two years in the field of digital media (for example, for a Foundation Degree or an HND). It allows you to develop further your skills and knowledge of a wide range of digital media by undertaking major projects, both individually and in groups. The course is based on modules offered as part of long-standing honours degree programmes from the Bradford Media School, and project modules specifically developed to allow you to work under the guidance of practicing professionals. Alongside these projects you will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge in specific areas such as digital videography or multimedia, depending on your interests and previous experience. There is a strong emphasis on practical skills that will allow you to develop a portfolio of work you can use to demonstrate your skills and abilities to potential employers.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The BA (Hons) Digital and Creative Enterprise is available as a one-year course to those who have completed, or expect to complete, an appropriate Foundation Degree or HND with at least 2 distinctions and 3 merits and GCSE English at a minimum of grade C. Entry is direct to stage 3 of the degree programme. Level of entry is dependent upon performance in, and relevance of, the prior qualification undertaken. The detailed content of the prior study may also restrict the options available during the degree programme and the nature of project work. This is to ensure that students have the prerequisite knowledge required to successfully complete their programme of study.

NOTE that we now also accept the 14-19 new Diploma in Creative Media and IT.

In addition, if your first language is not English, a test of written and spoken English normally needs to have been passed at grade 6.0 for IELTS (with no subtest below 5.5) or for TOEFL (87 for the Internet-based test).
